large Cruise Ship Project - Shipbuilding Case

Project Background:

A landmark mega cruise ship project kicked off in 2019, setting a new benchmark for China’s shipbuilding capabilities. After over 40 months of precision engineering and complex construction, the 13,550-tonne, 323-meter-long vessel was successfully delivered in 2023. This milestone not only launched an extraordinary ship but also positioned China among the world’s elite cruise ship builders.

Temo’s Highlight

CSSC SWS’s straight surface workshop, curved surface workshop, machining workshop, and thin plate center all use YCJ501-1 flux-cored welding wire. YCJ501-1 flux-cored welding wire accounts for more than 75% of the total usage at CSSC SWS, amounting to over 600 tons per month.
