Welding materials for weathering bridge steel

Weathering steel is one of the main technical development directions to realize the coating-free anti-corrosion of steel components serving in the atmospheric environment. At this stage, ordinary steel structure bridges mainly use painting to solve the problem of corrosion, but the cost of painting and later maintenance is relatively high; when corrosion-resistant steel is used, it can be used without painting. Welding materials for weathering steel are widely used in bridge construction, and are also widely used in railway vehicle construction, transmission towers and construction fields. The Q355NH, Q420qNH and Q500qNH series of welding materials developed by the iron anchor welding materials have a weather resistance index I of not less than 6.5, and have both excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. They are widely used in China Railway Baoqiao and China Railway Shan Bridge.
