AWS A5.15 ENiFe-C1 Welding electrode
TEMO Z408, GB/T 10044 ECNiFe-CI
Description:
ENiFe-C1 is a nickel-iron type electrode designed to weld normal grades cast irons and joint them to steel. It has very good current-carrying capacity and the weld metal is stronger and more resistant to solidification cracking than other nickel type electrodes.
Diameters: Packaging:
2.5mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm 1kg, 2kg,5kg
Applications:
Mainly used for the repairing of high strength gray cast iron and nodular cast irons.
Chemical Composition of Deposited Metal (wt.%):
C | Mn | Si | S | Ni | Fe | Cu | Al | |

GB/T | ≤2.0 | ≤2.5 | ≤4.0 | ≤0.03 | 45-60 | allowance | 2.5 | 1.0 |
Example value | 0.60 | 0.27 | 0.95 | 0.004 | 54.8 | 42.8 | 0.03 | 0.18 |
Recommended welding parameters(AC or DC﹢):
Diameter /mm | φ2.5 | φ3.2 | φ4.0 | φ5.0 |
Current /A | -- | 95-110 | 120-150 | 150-180 |
Notes:
1. The welding electrode must be backed at 120℃ for 1 hour before welding.
2. Hammer the bead can relieve stress of welded parts to avoid cracking.
3. Cold welding of cast iron should avoid using high current welding to reduce the penetration of impurity elements in the base material into the weld seam.
