AWS A5.15 ENi-C1 Welding electrode
TEMO Z308, GB/T 10044 ECNi-CI-B
Description:
ENi-C1 is a nickel-cored electrode designed to weld normal grades cast irons. The weld metal is soft and easily machinable, deposition is performed on cold or slightly preheated materials. It is suitable for joining cast irons foe the rectification of casting and repairing of broken parts.
Diameters: Packaging:
2.5mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm 1kg, 2kg, 5kg
Applications:
Mainly used weld thin parts of cast irons and repair broken parts.
Chemical Composition of Deposited Metal (wt.%):
C | Mn | Si | S | Ni | Fe | Cu | Al | |

Example value | 0.65 | 0.05 | 1.56 | 0.001 | 95.8 | 2.16 | 0.02 | 0.01 |
Recommended welding parameters(AC or DC﹢):
Diameter /mm | φ2.5 | φ3.2 | φ4.0 | φ5.0 |
Current /A | -- | 95-110 | 120-150 | 150-180 |
Notes:
1. The welding electrode must be backed at 120℃ for 1 hour before welding.
2. Hammer the bead can relieve stress of welded parts to avoid cracking.
3. Cold welding of cast iron should avoid using high current welding to reduce the penetration of impurity elements in the base material into the weld seam.
